Healthy Enterprise


NHS Westminster, working with Paddington Development Trust, has launched Healthy Enterprise, a grant and loan scheme for start-up and first-year sustainable businesses (Social Enterprise only) operating in health and well-being markets. This innovative fund will provide loans or grants from £1,000 to £50,000 to prospective social enterprises.
The enterprise centre managed by PDT , offers advise and support to prospective start-up businesses and assists in the business planning process.

Rachel Kavuma-Kyagulanyi Authoress


Rachel Kavuma-Kyagulanyi an NEC client here at the Xmas networking event. Rachel is a graduate teacher, author and publisher of children storybooks. She publishes colourfully illustrated myths and legend children books, to stimulate curiosity in children and encourage them to read.
Her book the Leopard and the Goat that is accompanied by an animated DVD is on sale for £10.00

NEC and Westminster Women in Business joint Xmas networking event


We would like to thank all who joined us for the Xmas networking event on Monday 7th December here at the Neighbourhood Enterprise Centre, we enjoyed traditional mulled wine made for us by Hanna Sintim and mince pies! This event was a big success and we look forward to many more in the New Year....

Westminster Women in Business


We would like to thank all of you that came along to the Westminster Women in business meeting on the 10th of November. A special thanks to Katia Chrysostomou a performance coach, who came along to talk to us all about customer service. The meeting also gave us all a chance to say goodbye to Aparna Zaveri our business support officer and to wish her all the very best for the future.

Enterprise Bazaar

On Thursday the 22nd October the NEC held another popular networking event. Sarah Potterton who is a communications consultant with many years experience working in Public Relations and Internal Communications for large organisations such as Shell and British Gas joined us and gave a talk. Sarah specialises in helping faciliate the goals of small to medium sized businesses through interactive sessions (one to one and group sessions) utilising analysis, insights and communications expertise.

The W9 Community Bazaar is run by two local women with the support of the Neighbourhood Enterprise Centre. It is held on the first Thursday of every month in St. Peter's Church Hall, Elgin Avenue, London W9 2DB, from 1.00pm until 4.00pm. Enterprise Bazaar


The Neighbourhood Enterprise Centre will be holding another popular networking event on Thursday 22nd October from 01.00 pm until 03.00pm here at the centre, 59 Elgin Avenue, London, W9 2DB.
